Carnival - All brands group
a responsive web platform experience
Benefitting from SapientRazorfish's long standing relationship with Carnival, we were asked to onboard the sister companies Holland America, Costa Cruises, Seabourn, Princess, Cunard, P&O Cruises and Aida onto the responsive web platform we had originally built for Carnival.
More specifically, the platform would be improved in the following ways:
While my role was a support role, the work I did focused on in-depth requirements gathering, competitive analysis, user flows, information architecture documentation, sketching, wireframing and component level annotations.
When I joined the project, a good junk of work had already been started. The discovery exercises I went through were around new template screens and components that needed to still be created.
Here are some of the documents that came out of those exercises.
Because this platform will be rolled out across multiple brands, we worked to build a component library in which a number of components could be used to build a variety of template pages that would satisfy the requirements of each brand. Below are some of the wireframed template pages and annotated components. Components were made responsive and also account for variations and states that exist.
Because the sites are not yet made public, I'm limited in showing the fullly visually designed template pages for each brand. Below are some of the visually designed components that will be used to build the template screens.
The sites are set to launch later this year. I will update this page with the fully designed comps at that time.
